COUNTDOWN TO MARCH & RALLY TO DEFEAT D.O.M.A. – JAN. 10
In less than one week, the San Diego Equality Campaign (SDEC) and the San Diego Alliance for Marriage Equality (SAME), in cooperation with Join the Impact will be calling on you to unite to defeat the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). The National March & Rally to defeat DOMA will be held on Saturday, January 10. Don’t forget, this is a peaceful and positive protest!

SPREAD THE WORD:
Help us spread the word by printing and distributing the Flyer and the DOMA Quarter Sheets. Both files are attached above.

Don’t forget to invite all of your friends, family, co-workers, myspace & facebook friends to join you!


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

START LOCATION:
COUNTY ADMIN BUILDING, 1600 PACIFIC HWY, SAN DIEGO, CA 92101
Parking at the County Admin Building is free on Saturdays. Please carpool to conserve space!

WARM-UP 10AM:
Join us at 10am for the Warm-Up Rally featuring exciting and informative speakers and performances from local artists. Don't forget to bring your own water and food. We will return to this exact site after the march.

MARCH 11AM SHARP:
At 11am sharp we take to the streets of San Diego in another historic march for marriage equality. The march is 2 miles and will take us in a loop back to the rally site. The march route travels by high visibility points including: Federal Building, Horton Plaza, Manchester Hyatt (where we will be joined by our friends from UNITE HERE).

RALLY 1PM:
At 1pm join us for the main Rally featuring more exciting and informative speakers and performances from local artists. You’ll also have the opportunity to take direct action by signing the OPEN LETTER TO OBAMA calling on him to repeal D.O.M.A.

We'll see you all on Saturday at 10am. Get those D.O.M.A. themed signs prepped and get ready for a peaceful and positive march and rally!
